Rainbow City Performing Arts
Broadway Performance Hall
1625 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98102

Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) envisions a world that promotes healthy attitudes about being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied. RCPA features a variety of ensembles playing everything from classical to swing to popular tunes. Their marching band performs with a color guard at summer performances giving them an added visual appeal.

Rainbow City Marching Band is where it all began in 1998. They bring music to the masses each summer, participating in parades and festivals throughout the Northwest. Their color guard, spinOUT, is the visual performance arm of the marching unit, bringing excitement and pizazz to parade and festival appearances. Rainbow City Concert Band delights audiences with classical and contemporary music for winds performed at concerts in the fall, winter, and spring. Rainbow City Orchestra performs a variety of music - both chamber music for strings and orchestral works that incorporate winds and percussion. Look for them at concerts and community events around the Seattle area. Renegayde Pep Band is the most informal group, an ad-hoc pep band that brings music, smiles, and good times to community events in the Seattle area. Purple Passion Swing Band and its Jazz Combo bring classic swing tunes from the big band era to concerts, dances, and other events around the Puget Sound area.

Members also organize their own ensembles from time to time to provide entertainment for community events, as a prelude or intermission to regular ensembles' events, or just for fun.
