The Seattle Alehouse, our original location, offers a world of extraordinary tastes waiting to be explored on draft including our year-round beers, rotating seasonals, as well as a few unique Pyramid offerings you won’t find anywhere else. Located across the street from Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, and just a block south of CenturyLink Field - the Alehouse is a great place for friends to gather before or after a baseball, football or soccer game.


2015  It’s our 30th year of proudly brewing quality beers in the Pacific Northwest! The great beer we make today is a tribute to our rich heritage of award-winning brews, and we’re kicking off this celebration with a new year-round offering, the style-splitting IPL. Pyramid IPL is a mix of a Northwest IPA and a lager. This brew, along with some old favorites, like our first-ever beer, Pale Ale, will be appearing throughout the year.

2014  Apricot Ale wins Gold at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival® in the Fruit Wheat Beer category. It's the third Gold for Apricot Ale, following wins in 1994 and 2008.

2012Pyramid Outburst is introduced as a new year-round beer and quickly becomes a favorite IPA of the Pacific Northwest.

2011  Pyramid Breweries celebrates the 25th Anniversary of its Winter Warmer – Snow Cap. Pyramid fans rock the night away at the Seattle Alehouse for Snow Cap’s big day at the 14th Annual Snow Cap Party.

2010  Apricot Ale wins Silver at the Great American Beer Festival® in the Fruit Beer category.

2008  Pyramid Breweries wins mid-size Brewery of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival. Pyramid also picks up gold medals for Apricot Ale and Crystal Wheat Ale (third consecutive year).

2007  The introduction of Imperial Hefeweizen, the limited edition specialty brew continues the tradition of wheat beer expertise. The limited edition ale is brewed in small batches of less than 120 barrels using the finest West Coast ingredients.

2006  Hefeweizen and Crystal Weizen take no prisoners at the 2006 World Beer Cup. Hefeweizen scores the bronze in the American Style Hefeweizen category, while Crystal Weizen wins the same in the American Style Wheat Beer category.

2004  Pyramid joins forces with MacTarnahan’s Brewing Company to open up the Portland Taproom and brewery in Oregon.

2004  Hefeweizen wins the gold medal for American style Hefeweizen at the 2004 Great American Beer Festival.
