The Washington State Fair, commonly referred to as the Puyallup Fair, is the largest single attraction held annually in the state of Washington. The fair continually ranks in the top ten largest fairs in the United States and draws over a million people each year. This fair lasts from the last day in August through the 23 day of September… talk about a blast! So, get ready to PARTY… nightly concerts performed by a star-studded lineup… 4 days of rodeo (Sept 6 – 9) : Put on your boots, chaps and cowboy hat and get ready for a wild show, when the top cowboys and cowgirls in the country compete in the 85th annual Washington State Fair Rodeo… And be sure to make it to the Rodeo Parade and Cattle Drive (Before the parade, there’s a special breakfast in Pioneer Park Pavilion from 8am - 10am). There’s all kinds of events and attractions for kids… parades and races… a carnival and hands on events… Cirque Ma'Ceo (a one-of-a-kind show featuring equestrian stunts and daring horseback acrobatics… lots of animal exhibits (Goat shows and mutton busting). And if you get hungry or thirsty: the Washington State Fair offers a variety of food options to excite your taste buds (everything from Chicken and Waffle to Chili Roasted Grasshoppers… Scones to Elephant Ears).
